Intruder Alert! Posts: 209 Group: Music Department Member #40 Joined: May 3, 2006	I had been wondering what was going on with the podcast. I know there was a tntative date for submissions but no other posts had been made and no other dicusssions or decisions. Is this a real deal and is it still open?

1am Media [Music] [Hippy Freak] Posts: 1,484 Group: Music Department 4* Member #50 Joined: June 13, 2006	http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podcast In a nutshell though it is simply an mp3 that is run through a modified RSS feed so that iPod clients like iTunes can auto-download shows and such (and I think iPod can be set up with one of the docks so that it then transfers the show over to your player automatically too). The newest craze with the price coming down some on the video capable players lately is the vidcast which is the same thing only it includes video. Suicide Girls vidcast is entertaining.... muhahaha

You can get full movies on it too. Talk about piracy vs. promotion! I'll be starting my Vidcasts too once the post production for my first cartoon is over. YAY!!!
