Don Shitzinsky Posts: 2,881 Group: Super Moderator Member #24 Joined: March 19, 2006	I just got this smashing idea of us independent underground artists heh, how about we make a nice little official 1am-media mix and let PhoeniX put it into the nDuce software. To-do list : - A fellow producer to mix it (I can do it too but if anyone would like to do it instead of me, be my guest. - At least 4 tracks. - A nice little debate whether to go with it or not. What we have : - Web Hosting at I am Pero, I would proudly host all the necessary files required and trust me there won't be bandwidth issues. - A lot of talented artists. Note that this is just a discussion topic, so feel free to pop with any arguments or anything you have on whether this is a good idea or not. Also take note this is not a sign-up topic so don't sign up with any tracks now. If the discussion is successful we're going with it and I'm opening a new topic and closing this one. This is a discussion whether should it be, or should it not be. There will be a deadline and people will send in their entries. Everything we get will be mixed as we did in our podcast hosted by kiddk8. But this time is going to nDuce as a mix. So, anyone have anything constructive?

is giving very serious thought to eating Hannibal Lecter's wife Posts: 3,779 Group: Administrator Member #1 Joined: February 1, 2006	I had been thinking about something just a little bit different from this. I was thinking that maybe we could form teams of 2,3 or 4 who use the same platforms (like FL, Cubase, Live, Reason etc.) and we can have a collaborative contest between these teams. About the composition process, each team decides the genre(s) they wish to cover within their mix and relay composition from the starter to the last member of the team. The composition is something that they can decide to change as many times during the course of the competition and isn't something you've to sign on. Once all entries are in, we then choose the best one on the basis of best production, composition and appeal etc. like all other mixes. This can then be submitted to a PODcast What say peeps?

There was a feature on the podcast I do and I can report that the download count and rate at which it amassed shows that there was interest in the show. Each podcast has it's own sets of fans/downloaders, so the more features you can land on different podcasts the better. This might all be painfully obvious but there it is lol. Discussion input 2 - I will be on the Easy Listening or New Age team I think
