I got a little request, if I may As a part of my assignment in post production at the institute, I am required to create a teaser/trailer of a movie. For this I chose Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I've already prepared the teaser as well as I could. All I need to do is to score it now. Today I showed it to the teacher and he was really pleased with my video (which is great for me being such a n00blet) and suggested that I should try and compose my own stuff for the video rather than make a mashup of obscure tracks. Now I know Lamb Of God gave the soundtrack for the movie, but I'm reserving a part of that track (Ruin) for the outro of the video or maybe just the credits part even. Coming to the point, does anybody have good, hi-q dark ambient/industrial samples that they could share please? I already have some really good samples CJV once gave me and I used a coupla them in the Twisted Minds remix as well as Aamrah. I need to ask for CJV's permission to re-use them as per the requirement of the shots. So if there is something someone could share, I'd really appreciate it. If not, it's cool too. Schmanks!

And just to let y'all know, I'm actually pretty much done with the score, thanks to Russ Krauch and CJV! Just a few minutes ago (that's when I checked my inbox), I got a sample from Russ that I know for sure, he produced himself. And daayum! That sound did wonders for the teaser! Thanks a lot man! All I need to do now is to automate a coupla knobs and add some more creepiness to the sound. Then I'll build and animate a "credits" part and we're all set! The past few days have been max exhausting!
