i burn a few of my tracks on to a cd to listen to in my car and basically all of them did not have the power in the bass from my subs that most commercially recorded tracks. it sounds fine coming out of my sub that i have hooked up to my computer but again its running through the 5.1 amp any suggestions on fixing this? |

turn the volume down on your sub, do not count on home subs because they boost your sub range by quite a lot also make sure your bass is pretty dead center (both lines on the output thingy should be even or very close) if the bass is stereo panned or anything it won't have the same kind of power. You can also try adding a simple sine bass playing the same bassline one octave below your current bassline, it helps boost your low end without mucking things up sometimes. |
