Hello there, 1am Media forums should soon be converted to another engine. This should, as planned, help prevent spam to a significant extent, or theoretically, fully. If you experience site downtime or anything of that nature, please stay calm. The place is just being revamped for the benefit of all. Once the engine conversion takes place, we (yes, all of us) will monitor any and all spam, its frequency and nature etc. and if not satisfactory, will let go of this forum engine altogether and move to a more secure engine. Enough is enough. To many support tickets and the same answer. Not good anymore. So yea, let's hope for the best, aye?

Yes,i think it's necessary. I even had a "Girls Web Video" message on my inbox (and i believe many others had it too). It became annoying,considering also that almost every topic here is spammed. I really hope that the engine conversion will work. |

I had that same message lol! I thought I was getting a message from PhoeniX or somebody for my absence from the forums but it was spam. It's great to see that the forums will get revamped! |

I have had many issues with this too. So much so that I only rarely visit the site anymore. There has been no sense in it. I just got fed up. I will keep checking back periodically. Let me know if the anme changes etc. So I can get back to the good ol' days. Peace! AA

I want to know just the same thing, I think PhoeniX is actually working on something due to these downtimes (or they're finally upgrading their servers). Anyhow, PhoeniX is not online very much so I don't really know but when he gets out of the brawl of his life and launches 1am-Media forums v3,0 we are going to be stunned and amazed! |

what happened, i just get internet back get on the forum and see no new posts for a while and now i see a forum conversion. is there a new site? or is it still being worked on? im back and will be from now until i start school then idk. whats goin on? |

Okay, as most of you must have noticed by now, 1am Media forums have a new engine running underneath this new and extremely hideous looking skin. All of these changes took place while I was out of Delhi as a technical representative from my company for Broadcast India 2008. And for the same reason I couldn't do much about these changes. Starting tonight, I will start working on the look and feel of the forums bit by bit. So if you feel something isn't where it's supposed to be or find a bug that you'd normally spray with bug-repellent ice cream clamchowder, please stay calm. It only means, I'm either working on something or drooling looking at nakkid wimmins. [EDIT] I also just noticed that in the browser's address bar, it shows some redundant stupid link. This should be cured within a time span of 72 hours as DNS propogation occurs, or in layman terms, stuff moves around the world.

Dude, I'm not really sure of what you're talking about. As goes for a collective bunch of latest info from the boards, just click on the "Portal" link in the top right corner of the site under the banner. If you're talking about forum category markers indicating of whether there was new content posted in a particular forum, well yes, it really is the hideous default skinage. As goes for "Today's active topics" and all those bla-bla stats, we have the links at the bottom like we did before. Other than that... Well I'm stumped... And one rum down. To be honest this engine is far better than the previous one. None of the features that existed previously have been taken down. Only more have been added. Plus, this thing is more streamlined than what we had before too. At least the Admin panel is. Also, did anyone notice that the forum height can be custom managed by clicking the "-"/"+" (minus/plus) buttons at the top right corner of every forum category? Slick sheez.
